Mirror, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Donald L. Denney, Ph.D. to the position of Senior Advisor for Correctional Services. Dr. Denney has a background in drug abuse treatment in addition to a career in federal corrections. Dr. Denney holds a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
“Dr. Denney is familiar to many of our Residential Re-entry staff, as he served as the Central Sector Administrator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Kansas City for several years,” said Mirror CEO Barth Hague. “He is deeply knowledgeable about the Bureau and federal re-entry programs.”
In his position as Central Sector Administrator, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of seven residential re-entry offices located in the Midwest. These offices provide oversight to more than 200 locations delivering residential reentry services to more than 1,900 federal inmates on a daily basis, at the conclusion of their federal sentences.
As Senior Advisor for Correctional Services at Mirror he will guide the residential re-entry program and work with staff to assess the efficiency of the operation, make recommendations and implement enhancements to existing programs, and look for opportunities for Mirror to expand in this area.
