Mirror Board Names New President
The Mirror Board of Directors today unanimously approved the appointment of Heath Bechler as the new president of Mirror, Inc. Bechler will replace Barth Hague as Chief Executive Officer as Hague transitions to retirement this summer.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the substance abuse treatment field, Mr. Bechler got his start at Mirror as a third shift addiction technician. Learning from the ground up, he became a counselor for five years and then moved into an administrator role for an inpatient youth program prior to launching his own treatment company in 2002. Expanding to more than ten locations statewide, Mr. Bechler created new models of treatment with the goal of providing help to underserved areas and populations.
He sold his company to Preferred Family Healthcare in 2012 and started consulting with several for-profit and non-profit organizations, including interim positions to help turn around program operational and financial positions. Most recently, Mr. Bechler helped successfully launch a start up inpatient program in Bel Aire, Kans., and oversaw the operational transition of two additional mergers throughout Kansas and Oklahoma as a regional vice president.
Mr. Bechler is a graduate of Kansas State University School of Psychology (BS), Friend’s University (Masters in Christian Ministry) and Tabor College (MBA). Heath is married to his wife of 25 years, Shannon. They have four sons and two grandchildren.
