Work for Success Program
The Mirror Work for Success Program in Lawrence and Topeka feature the Personal and Professional Development (PPD) Curriculum which is designed to inspire participants to realize their dreams and achieve self-sufficiency by providing hope, resources, and a plan. We believe in the value and potential of each individual, and this program will maximize individual talents, skills and the unique passions each client brings to their community and to their family. Not only will clients learn how to get a job, they will develop skills to keep that job and to continue moving forward.
In addition to the PPD curriculum, Work for Success offers programming to support parents and increase family stability. Parenting classes and support services such as housing, transportation, resource navigation, and more, help fill in the gaps that can be especially challenging during a point of transition. Case Managers, Employment Navigators, and Peer Mentors work one-on-one with participants to create goals and connect them with community resources to accomplish those goals by reducing barriers.
Services benefit those who are unemployed, underemployed, released from incarceration, and those in the community seeking more stability for themselves and family. Check out all of our services here!
